Ferndown Library in Dorset will be celebrating its local authors at the library on Tuesday 12 July. David Hough, the author of popular aviation thrillers Prestwick and Heathrow, will be one of the speakers talking about his work. The event starts at 10.30am.

David Hough's new aviation thriller, Heathrow, has been published - and according to one of the readers, it's like Die Hard with wings!

The story starts when a fire disrupts the London Air Traffic Control Centre and the controllers move to an emergency control room at Heathrow – which is exactly where a group of terrorists want them.

The crisis deepens and the whole of London’s Air Traffic Control system comes under attack. Desperate measures are needed to discover who is behind the attack, and what they want. As the answers begin to emerge, it becomes clear that far more is at stake than the safety of aircraft and passengers. By then, there seems no way to stop a terrorist attack far more shocking than anyone had imagined.
